🏃♂️ Waiver & Release Agreement 🏃♀️
I, the undersigned, understand and acknowledge that participating in the 5K’s of Christmas Night Run
involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, contact with other participants,
effects of weather, traffic, conditions of the racecourse, and potential exposure to communicable diseases.
I voluntarily assume all such risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the
event organizers or others.
In consideration of my participation, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns,
hereby fully release, discharge, and hold harmless Lighthouse Baptist Academy, its employees,
volunteers, event sponsors, and all associated parties from any and all claims, demands, losses,
or liabilities of any kind arising from my participation in this event.
I certify that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate.
I agree to abide by all race rules, including refraining from profanity, vulgarity, and alcohol use.
I also acknowledge that event organizers reserve the right to remove participants who fail to comply.
In the event of an emergency, I authorize medical personnel to provide treatment if deemed necessary.
I understand that I am responsible for any medical costs incurred.
I grant full permission for my image, likeness, and name to be used in promotional materials
without compensation.
Severability: If any part of this agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable,
the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
By signing electronically, I confirm that I have read and agree to the terms of this waiver.
For Participants Under 19: A parent or legal guardian must sign this agreement
on behalf of any minor participants.
